Contact Recapp
Email support@risingdevs.com. Include your device model, operating system, Recapp version, language and the steps that led to the problem. Start with an error message or a redacted screenshot; you do not need to send a private recording.
Email supportSign-in and Free plan
Free includes 10 meetings per month, up to 30 minutes each, 3 chat questions per meeting and your Personal vault. Pro includes unlimited meetings up to 2 hours, unlimited chat questions, Generate Summary in Reports and additional vaults: USD $8.99/month or $79.99/year. Sign in with Google, Apple or Microsoft to use Recapp. The account service stores a profile and sessions in Azure, separately from meeting content. Signing in does not upload files: processing requires separate consent. Signing out locks the workspace and preserves your files.
Subscriptions and devices
Pro is associated with your signed-in Recapp account and one active device. Activating Pro on another device disables Pro on the previous one. External checkout is hosted by Stripe on supported platforms; iPhone purchases and restoration use the App Store. Purchase options remain unavailable until configured. Storefront prices are shown before payment. Eligible single-use access codes grant lifetime Pro on supported platforms; promotional discounts follow the checkout terms. Manage or cancel your subscription with the provider that sold it. Google and Outlook calendar connectors are a Pro feature with separate read-only consent. Availability depends on provider setup, Google test-user or verification restrictions and Microsoft organization policies. Other connectors remain previews.
Private Azure Cloud
Review processing consent in Settings. Processing needs internet. Files are preserved if Azure is unavailable; retry later.
Screenshots as context
During recording, use the desktop system picker or choose a PNG/JPEG on mobile. Manual capture or selection adds the image to Azure context after the inclusion notice. You can uncheck it before finishing; included images are sent when you finish, subject to your cloud-processing consent. Originals are saved with the title and capture date/time beside the note.
Install on Windows
The setup EXE is digitally signed by Rising Devs. Microsoft Defender SmartScreen can still show an unrecognized-app warning while a new Preview release builds reputation. Continue only when Windows displays Rising Devs as the publisher and the installer SHA-256 matches the value on the download page. Report any different publisher or checksum to support.
Record clearly
Allow microphone access in your device settings. Place the device near the speakers and check a short recording with playback before an important meeting. Pause and resume from the recording controls. Windows can capture system audio alongside the microphone. Headsets, interruptions and background behavior can vary by device; check your own setup before relying on it.
Recording controls and reminders
Edit the meeting title while recording or paused and use the recording banner to return from another screen. Recordings stop and save automatically at your plan limit: up to 30 minutes on Free or 2 hours on Pro. Pro recordings remind you after one hour of captured audio; pauses do not count. Windows can suggest recording when a calling app or browser uses the microphone while Recapp is open. This detection can be disabled in Settings.
Keep or move a vault
A vault is a folder containing .md notes, _transcripts and _attachments. Export the whole vault when you want the recordings and links to travel with it. Keep an independent backup. If a folder provider stops granting access, reconnect the same folder. Your Markdown files can be opened without Recapp.
Recover or remove a recording
Use recording recovery in the app after an interrupted capture. Recapp keeps source files when you delete a note, so deleting a note is not a complete audio deletion. Review the privacy policy’s deletion section or contact support before removing recovery files or shared attachments.
Review generated notes
AI output can omit or misclassify facts. Check decisions, owners, dates and quotations against the transcript and recording. Very short recordings can produce labeled verbatim notes instead of a generated summary. An answer with a source label can still interpret the source incorrectly.
